About Mairi Singleton

My work stems my relationship with Angus coast, more specifically Arbroath where I draw alot of my influence for this body of work. The angus coast has inspired me to create paintings on driftwood about the sea and some of the surrounding towns. I am currently based in carlisle for my second year of art college but continue to make work about that general area of scotland. At the moment my work is being sold in 'Mearns art house' ( http://www.mearnsarthouse.com/index.html ) in stonehaven.
